Triangle UFO over California coast According to Military Witness

A California witness at Oceanside reported watching a triangle-shaped object heading south and parallel with the Coast Highway at an altitude of 200 feet, according to recent testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside on a balcony about 10:50 p.m. on January 12, 2013, when the object was first observed lit by the street lights of Coast Highway.

"It was three red lights in an equilateral triangle and none were lit," the witness stated. "They were heading south, parallel with Coast Highway at around a 200-foot altitude. I'd estimate the lights at 50 feet apart. I watched for close to 20 seconds before it was out of range. Estimated speed was 80 to 100 mph."

The witness has a military background and could not identify the object.

"Having spent five years as a Merchant Seaman I've seen many strange things in the sky - meteors, satellites, military and civilian aircraft, but these three unlit, red lights were the strangest thing I've ever seen in the sky. I was not drinking (sober 18 years) and am not prone to hallucinations."

No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on January 15, 2013. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Oceanside is a coastal community along California's southern coast, population 183,095.

Controversy over the Guy Hottle FBI memo

It seems that a certain FBI document generated some bitter debate over its authenticity, a couple of years back, after a huge disclosure of UFO material in 2010. Historic details of the FBI's exhaustively recorded files on some of the most famous investigations in US history were disclosed. One particular declassified FBI document pertaining to UFO's beginning in 1947, generated some heated debate. So, I'd like to elaborate further. In December, after the FBI released a vault of previously secret files that had not seen the light of day in decades, a plethora of material was made public.

It is hard for me to comprehend how documents generated by the FBI solely intended for interdepartmental use could have been altered or compromised in any way shape or form while in the possession of said entity. Either these documents were within the security of the agency or not. I'd have to assume they were. I have read many of the memorandums. They not only appear to be legitimate, but poorly copied, not given a great deal of priority (routine), and very dated in terms of the existing technology of the time. Never the less, they are extraordinarily historic.

The Guy Hottle, memorandum seemed at the top of the list at that time for argument. It was based upon a teletyped message that was received from Roswell Army Airfield stating that a disk had been recovered by the 509th Bomb group. Hottle, SAC (Special Agent in Charge) apparently relayed this news from his office in Washington 22, March 1950 to the desk of J. Edgar Hoover saying that 3 disks had been captured by the Air Force and that each contained 3 alien bodies. Does this seem sensational, yes. Does this appear to substantiate evidence that supports a massive military cover up of an extraterrestrial crash, yes.

Could this memo be faked? Well, this is where the contention and source of irritation originate from. Apparently certain individuals are too paranoid of being blindsided or discredited. They would also like to discredit anyone whose opinion and findings disagree with theirs. So, I'd like to take this opportunity to elaborate on my belief concerning the aforementioned evidence.

Is it possible that FBI agent Guy Hottle was a loose canon or prone to exaggeration when analyzing intelligence content? I would doubt that contentiously. It is hard for us histrionically to imagine the mindset of most individuals in 1947, but I think one can safely say this. The post war atmosphere of 1947 was of such that the nation's defense was probably still much in the minds of most Americans back then. I think the general climate of ethics was much higher than it is in our video game, internet techno wienie world of Marxist influenced, fat and lazy citizens.

For an FBI agent in 1947 to make frivolous interpretations of intelligence data going to the desk of J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI, an acknowledged master of surveillance, I doubt very seriously any fool would have entertained such idiocy. Risking your credibility as an FBI agent in 1947 would seem to me to have been a cardinal sin, even more so than it would be today. So, let's not stoop to marginalizing the Roswell memorandum based on this premise.

Now, how could a piece of deceptive chicanery from Silas Newton, who scammed Frank Scully on the basic events that constituted controversy over the Aztec, New Mexico crash, which I have written about in a previous article, be contained in an FBI memo? How could some shady hoax have infiltrated the FBI's filing system and been passed off as an actual historic memorandum? How? Did Silas Newton creep into FBI headquarters in Dallas and plant the file? Really? Was Guy Hottle himself a fabrication, a nonexistent FBI agent? Is the FBI vault, the internet repository that the FBI UFO files were released to the public through, a corrupted farce, or really the domain of someone else other than the FBI? Did the FBI disclose the Guy Hottle memo as a falsified way of taking part in April Fools Day?

It seems to me that the doubts that have surfaced seem almost as fantastic as the claim of an extraterrestrial crash in itself. The accusations of a hoax are just about as amazing as to whether or not aliens did crash at Aztec. So where lies the truth?

What do we actually know about the long history of UFO's and the military's response to the phenomenon? We know that the Air Force enlisted a more than 20 year long study comprising Project Sign, Project Grudge, and Project Blue Book. We know that at the apex of this project when it had gained notoriety among the branches of the service as well as prestige from the well designed intelligence analysis that was being produced that in 1953 under the aegis of the Robertson Panel, the project had it's teeth were removed, the organization was gutted and turned into a public relations tool. The major officers who had developed the project and refined it into a well respected and well run machine, were disillusioned and requested reassignment despite having a major general's support for increased funding.

We know that many pilots and their aircraft have died or disappeared in pursuit of UFO's over the last few decades. We know that some of the most prominent generals in history such as Douglas MacArthur, Benjamin Chidlaw, RAF Air Marshall, Lord Dowding, and General Curtis LeMay have publicly confirmed their belief in the reality of UFO's. These men, with the best intelligence assets in the world, at their disposal, have confirmed the existence of UFO activity they believed presented a threat to national security.

We know that Major Jesse Marcel testified to handling the crash debris of an alien ship that was thin metallic, fire resistant, could not be cut, even though it was light weight that they could bounce a sledge hammer off of a thin strip of it, and that it returned to its original shape after being crumpled into a ball. Remember Marcel was a nuclear arsenal specialist, who briefed President Truman. Is it possible he could have misidentified the material he found on Mac Brazel's ranch with a weather balloon? Impossible! Did manmade material like this exist in 1947? Of course not.

However, just as the left liberal movement lies and misrepresents the truth in the political arena, the debunkers of Roswell have continually presented weak, and irrelevant arguments that a military cover up never occurred or that the debris found by the 509 the Bomb Group was a weather balloon, Project Mogul, or some other misidentified material that fell from the skies just like the anthropomorphic dummies used in Air Force tests were mistakenly identified as little gray aliens found at the crash site. There are even assertions made by the military that Chimpanzees that could have suffered catastrophic depressurization in failed tests of the experimental A-9 rocket, could have been mistaken for little gray alien bodies even though this configuration was not launched and tested at White Sands, New Mexico until 1954, seven years after the Roswell incident.

Could military counter intelligence procedure play a role in using the UFO premise as a form of distraction from what really might be going on such as X projects of the past and present? Perhaps, but in reviewing the vehement reaction of the military in denying the existence of UFO's, accusing some airline pilots of being drunk as they narrowly missed fast flying aerial anomalies, blacking out Major Donald Keyhoe from the TV screen while he spoke about UFO's on primetime, all seem to point to a different conclusion. Why would the US military suddenly change direction from denial, and ridicule to an abrupt about face and now to contradictory false disclosure? It doesn't add up.

In summing up a history rich in evidence and large volume of substantive activity, I think it is fair to say that not only did Roswell happen, but other alien crashes and retrievals have likely been conducted. I feel that the FBI UFO Dallas office memo too is very likely authentic.

I think that those who have debunked the Guy Hottle Memo have much in common with debunkers who can't bring themselves to grasp that somebody from somewhere else came to earth, and for many possible reasons, inadvertently crashed on this planet. I think that there have been visitations through out human history.

As Ryan Wood's father, Robert, spoke with me at a Crash Retrieval Conference in Las Vega, Nevada, his belief in UFO's did not in anyway contradict his deep Christian faith nor did it influence his involvement in his church. I must concur with Robert Woods, a 43 year career flight engineer, who worked for McDonald Douglas and had many a well known UFO researcher at his dinner table as his son, Ryan grew up. Neither does the possibility of extraterrestrial existence disturb my Christian convictions either. For me, the Guy Hottle Memo stands on it's own as a viable piece of evidence in the long saga of the UFO legacy.

Dirty Politics Second Edition, 2013

Pat Regan's book Dirty Politics is most certainly `not' a work of fiction. All information within its remit is based on hard facts, personal experience and evidence gleaned from years of tough campaigning against various forms of social and ecological suppression.

If Pat Regan's words at first upset or even offend you in any way then please give the author the benefit of the doubt. Read the whole work through, before you make judgements. Dirty Politics will tell it as it `is', from the heart, and not how it is supposed to be. It is written from first-hand experience, not passed on gossip from other factions with dubious agendas.

Dirty Politics endeavours are well-meant and based on genuine concern for what Regan holds dear. Many concerned people of a similar mindset to Pat Regan have been urgently seeking to expose similar or indeed the very same facts to a wider audience for some time.
The passion behind Dirty Politics is to resist mismanagement, oppression and cold-hearted officialdom that have run out of control.

Dictatorial bullies, that hate to listen and love to shout, clearly hold a strange magnetic quality for crusader like Regan. He clearly gravitates to them and if they fail to control their malevolent ways he is always happy to oblige, via returning the favour three-fold times.

The latest waste collection debacle, that is affecting so many ordinary families everywhere, is a prime example of this authoritarian misconduct and it needs to be roundly exposed for what it is - right now!

The vast majority of information contained in this work is related to the controversial waste collection issue, yet Dirty Politics also includes data regarding the way those greedy authorities and firms etc mistreat the ecosystem.

Most of this type of thing is of course interrelated anyway; consequently it is all highly relevant to the subject matter.

Freethinker Pat Regan has also tackled the divisive issue of global warming allegations, not as any great scientific expert but as a long-time campaigner who has seen exactly how clever politicians are manipulating the public via that subject for their own selfish ends.

Dirty Politics follows the vast international topic of energy issues, which are again related to the matters at hand and ultimately concern us all - whether we like it or not.

People have fairly asked Regan how he ever got involved in the widespread campaign against the UK Government's notorious and greatly unpopular two-week bin scheme. That is a very good question yet one that he has honestly never really bothered to address before now. He habitually addresses the cause and effect of things, always has, preferring to rely on pure gut instinct for the best advice rather than trust the word of so-called `experts' who frequently have carefully hidden agendas. 22 Triangle UFO Cases Reported in November 2012!

Coverage of 2012 triangle UFO cases closed out as Unknowns continues today with 22 pieces of edited witness statements from November 2012, according to January 22, 2013, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The completed cases means MUFON field investigators have ruled out Mother Nature and anything man-made.

Looking Back

The triangle remains a top three UFO shape for 2012 with 685 U.S. reports filed through December 15, 2012. November 2, 2012, 6:35 p.m., Phoenix, Maricopa County, AZ, Case 43729. "As it moved further west you can clearly see the lights are in a triangle pattern," the witness stated. "When we first saw it, appeared to be three large, non-blinking, slow moving, white lights in a row (as shown on the other YouTube video) but clearly a triangle pattern as seen in my video. Watch 'bright lights over phoenix 11/2/12' first and then mine, 'UFO Phoenix 11/2/12.' Watching both videos gives a great perception of exactly what my mom and I saw."

November 3, 2012, 5:30 p.m., Katy, Waller County, TX, Case 43835. "I usually take a lot of pictures because I like photography," the witness stated. "When I showed them to my wife, we noticed the green sphere-like object in the sky and both observed that it was moving back and forth and up and down. We both knew this was not a plane. There also was another, smaller object. The pictures were taken between two and four seconds apart, so it was moving at a great speed. There is a small airport nearby, and we are very familiar with the landing and flight patterns, also colors of airplanes. There is a green outline in the clouds and it looks like a green beam going downward. The object changed shape or possibly turned over and went to the south where it seemed to join with a cloaked, large object, which can be seen in the last photos. It looks like a cloud, but there is a clear outline of a huge disk, and cloud/vapor trail coming from the south/southwest. We put the photos onto our computer and enlarged them and in some of the pictures of the green sphere you can see what looks like windows, and it appears to be acorn-shaped. When it changed directions, you can see rows of lights, and on each side there are three lights."

November 3, 2012, 11:45 p.m., Des Moines, Polk County, IA, Case 43716. "I was looking east when I noticed a bright orange/red light in the sky," the witness stated. "Upon a second look I noticed two more identical lights. The lights were aligned like the three points of a triangle. I could not see a solid object between the lights but the way they moved together made me believe they were part of a solid object. The lights were above the tree line and appeared to be very close to me. I was worried that while I was sitting there the object/lights were going to fly over my house. They appeared to be much lower than an airplane would fly. I would estimate that they were approximately 100-200 feet in the air, maybe higher, but definitely below the light cloud cover. I remember thinking that when the object flew over, it was so low that I would be able to see all the detail and that frightened me. The lights were gliding very slowly, not wavering from their position in the triangle and moving in a westerly direction. The lights were circular in shape and were about five times brighter and larger than the brightest/largest star in the sky. I watched the lights for about 10 minutes as they moved west, toward me, and then they began to slowly fade until they appeared no brighter or larger than the average star."

November 4, 2012, 9:10 p.m., Herculaneum, Jefferson County, MO, Case 43707. "I looked up over the top the car to the southeast and observed three lights forming a triangle in the sky," the witness stated. "The lights stayed on and did not blink. I was able to determine that the object that the lights were attached to was dark and triangular-shaped. The object seemed fairly large. When I first observed the object it was hovering. I watched it for what seemed to be 30 seconds. All of a sudden the lights flashed very brightly and the object took off at a very high rate of speed. I also heard a 'whooshing' sound that did not sound like a helicopter or airplane."

November 4, 2012, 9:20 p.m., Oakley, Contra Costa County, CA, Case 43811. "We were at home and all heard a very loud rumbling sound," the witness stated. "It was like a 747 was dropping from the sky. We ran to our rear yard and immediately noticed a very large, narrow, triangular-shaped aircraft approximately 100 to 125 feet long and 50 to 75 feet wide. It had a solid smooth surface, straight lines, dark in color, with no writing or makings. There were three lights, one on each corner. It was flying very low and very slow, coming from the east over our housing track, and light enough to see pretty good. As it slowly passed, the aircraft was almost directly above the three of us and we all said the same thing. 'It has no wings and it has no rotors.' But what also struck us as odd, was that the narrow point of the triangle was in the rear, which is opposite of the Stealth Bomber and this aircraft was much narrower. We wondered if this was some new aircraft out of Travis Air Force Base which is about 40 miles north of us. Even so, why would the military be flying anything so loud and so low at that time of night over housing tracks? We watched for about two to three more minutes as it continued west and lost sight of it through the distant trees. Quite a sight to see!"

November 4, 2012, 9:35 p.m., Vallejo, Solano County, CA, Case 43726. "I was sitting at my computer and heard a loud humming noise and went outside to investigate to see what looked like a pentagon-shaped object flying above with four dim lights on each corner except the top," the witness stated. "I stood there in awe before realizing I needed to capture it, but by then it was too far to get on camera."

November 5, 2012, 8:27 p.m., Fayetteville, Cumberland County, NC, Case 43730. "It looked like a cop helicopter looking for someone low over houses to my left while driving south," the witness stated. "We live near Fort Bragg. Looked like this trangle withn three white lights sitting over houses near the intersection of Cliffdale and Prestige. I almost wercked my car. Turned around to get another look as quick as I could and it was gone."

November 6, 2012, 4:50 a.m., Hazelwood, St. Louis County, MO, Case 43755. "Noticed what I thought was an airplane fly across the highway," the witness stated. "It got above the field to the side of the highway I was on. I pulled over and watched it descend down while flying back over to the highway right over my car. The first time I saw it the only reason I noticed it was because it was hovering over the bridge like just above it making it maybe 100 feet above my car. Literally freaked me out a bit and then I kept seeing it more and more. I've seen it at least 15 times since August. A few of my coworkers have seen it too. Not really sure what it was but it's definitely an unidentified craft. It looks like the same craft seen in KC in July of this year."

November 6, 2012, 5:30 p.m., Jackson County, MO, Case 43750. "We were driving through our city to eat at a restaurant when we noticed a bright ball of light hovering over a central monument, Liberty Memorial," the witness stated. "We were curious and drove toward this part of town, only a five minute drive to reach this monument. We got there and the object began to move northwest at a slow stall and unusually low altitude. It became a jet. It flew low enough for us to see in detail the underbelly with no markings, all white, non-commercial jet making no sound. Our car did not vibrate as expected to be directly under a jet. I watched as the jet slowly passed over our windshield and then looked at it through the moon roof briefly. We were driving 25 mph. The scale was two-thirds the space of our moon roof. It took approximately three seconds to cross the moon roof view. It kept up its northwest flight path with a constant speed and altitude. We only lost sight because we went to our destination."

Killer Asteroids, What, Us Worry?

If an asteroid, one hundred meters across hits Earth, it would explode with the force of a dozen nuclear weapons. Alas, Earth sits in a Solar System which is full of asteroids, large and small.

Millions of asteroids orbit the Sun; some of those cross the Earth’s path. Asteroids are sometimes as small as grains of sand, and they create brilliant shooting stars when they burn up in our atmosphere. Often they are mistaken for UFOs. However, asteroids can be the size of large football stadiums or as large in area as a city.

The asteroid which extinguished the dinosaurs overnight was ten kilometers across. It crashed to Earth 65 million years ago. Are there any killer asteroids headed our way soon?

We are fairly positive that no huge asteroids are headed our way for a few centuries. Of course, if we do not believe NASA about life, or at least alien craft on the Moon and Mars, then should we believe them that no killer asteroids are headed our way soon? This is up to the individual reader.

What do we do to find the huge asteroids of the future and smaller ones which could arrive anytime and would still do great damage to Earth, her environment and civilization?

First, asteroids must be located. Smaller asteroids around one hundred meters in diameter are hard to see; we need big telescopes that can sweep across large areas of sky rapidly and which can track those moving asteroids. The good news is we have telescopes like that, and we're building more.

Still, some of these galactic bombs are in orbits that make them very difficult to spot. Asteroids stay near the Sun, making them hard to observe from the ground. Therefore, we should build a spacecraft that travels in a path closer to the Sun. This craft should look away from the Sun rather than into the Sun in order to spot asteroids. Another idea is to launch a telescope that does the same thing but stays near Earth. Both have their advantages, and the good news is that both of these concepts is being pursued through preliminary research.

The B612 Foundation is a group of astronomers, astronauts, and engineers who investigate how to avoid asteroid impact on Earth. They are seeking private donations to build Sentinel, a spacecraft that will travel into an orbit similar to Venus, to look for dangerous asteroids.

NASA is looking into building the NEOCam which will be a camera to spot near-Earth objects. Both projects state that once in place, and using infrared, warm asteroids would give themselves away against the cold of space, and both say they could find as many as 90 percent of Earth-approaching asteroids bigger than 140 meters in size. Sentinel can look in regions of space NEOCam can't see, but NEOCam, being closer to Earth, can scan the skies faster and transmit the data more efficiently to Earth. Together, they will make a good team when watching for asteroids.

Suppose that a killer asteroid has been spotted from Earth. What can we do?

There is the concept of a "kinetic impactor plus gravity tug." Here is the scenario: a space probe is sent to the killer asteroid at full speed, and slams into it. The force of the impact changes the velocity of the rock slightly, just enough so that it will miss the Earth. We hope!

However, what if the killer asteroid circles the Sun a few more times, the trajectory changes slightly, and it is then set to hit us at some later date? It is planned that a second probe hitch-hikes on the impactor. It can move into a station-keeping position near the rock, using its own gravity to very gently tug the rock into a safe orbit. This operation will take a lot of time, so the more lead-time we have, the more chances of Earth survival.

The sad fact is, it takes a lot of lead-time to build and launch the probes, as well as get to the asteroid, so that's why finding these killer asteroids as quickly as possible is so important.

Unfortunately, we don't have missions like these built and ready to go. We don't even have them designed! NASA has a limited budget, so trying to find the money necessary for these projects (billions of dollars!) when funding is being cut will not happen unless Congress and the President take it seriously. However, the Congress and the President cannot or will not even stop us from going over the fiscal cliff!

Even today, there are a handful of asteroids which are being carefully watched. These could do serious global damage to Earth if they impacted us. Will the day come when a killer asteroid is detected very close, somehow having slipped past early indicators, and we as a civilization will regret, to put it lightly, not having gotten ready? Will we rue the day we did not invest in asteroid detection and defense? We spend so much on war with other human beings.

The fact is, a killer asteroid will hit us. Given enough time and our inaction, an impact is inevitable. Yes, we have started thinking about detecting and stopping asteroids which would do us serious harm or bring doomsday. Will we be ready on time?

UFO described as 'blue, laser-like ring'

An Illinois witness reported watching a "blue, laser-like ring" that appeared to hover and descend to the ground several times beginning about 8:45 p.m. on December 26, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was at home with a friend watching television in a basement room when a bright light was noticed through the window.

"It looked like a blue laser in the shape of a ring," the witness stated. "Because it was dark, I could not see anything else on the UFO. I could, however, make out that it was disk-shaped, and that the ring was the exterior rim of the UFO. The laser-like light was unchanging in brightness and was one closed ring, not a set of lights."

The witness described the light.

"It was roughly the size of a dinner plate. It did not appear to be spinning, but the closed ring, static brightness of the light could have been the cause of that. It appeared to be hovering over the backyard of our neighbor's house, or perhaps the house next to that."

The witness and the friend observed the object from the basement window.

"The object, which was originally hovering two-and-a-half stories high, started to ascend in a perfectly straight line (as linear as the path of an elevator). This looked unnatural because the object was small and there was a modest breeze outside. The object did not appear to waver, tilt, or move horizontally at all. It had almost perfect acceleration, increasing speed at a very constant and calculated pace. It honestly seemed to be the ideal and theoretical situation that you might find in a physics book. Which is actually quite unnatural, given the fact that a perfect theoretical situation doesn't exist due to the presence of other forces."

The object was moving.

"The object ascended to above the tree line, about five stories high, then immediately started a perfect deceleration. As soon as the object came to rest, it began a perfect acceleration downward. After the object had descended about halfway, it then ascended again to the same height. It then descended all the way to what appeared to be a landing."

When the object appeared to land, the witness ran outside.

"The UFO was nowhere to be seen. After looking for about a minute, I went back downstairs to my basement and looked out the window. I then saw the UFO once again, but this time hovering only a story and-a-half high. It moved up and down with no set path, changing direction about five times but never displacing itself more than a foot from its original position, before landing once again."

Thinking that the object had again landed, the witness went back outside a second time.

"I went behind my garage where I could see my neighbor's backyard more clearly. There was no person to be seen, and no footprints (there was snow on the ground.) There was also no sign of the UFO. No tracks, nothing."

The witness then wondered if the object was actually a toy since children live nearby.

"I am skeptical that it was a toy, however, because of its perfect acceleration, its perfectly vertical path, its blue lasers (which are often not sold commercially due to their strength), its height (five stories high) and the absence of any person nearby. I searched many different UFO toys online, but nothing matched what I seen perfectly. Illinois is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. Illinois had 20 reports in November 2012 - the 9th highest reporting state while California had 53 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.

December 26, 2012, 8:45 p.m., IL - Blue Laser-Like Ring Hovers, Ascends, then Descends to Ground. Case 44807.

I was watching television with a friend in my basement in the moments directly before the event occurred. It was roughly 8:45 pm on December 26. It was very dark outside. I noticed something bright in the corner of my eye, so I turned my head to look out the window. I then spotted the UFO. It looked like a blue laser in the shape of a ring. Because it was dark, I could not see anything else on the UFO. I could, however, make out that it was disk shaped, and that the ring was the exterior rim of the UFO. The laser-like light was unchanging in brightness and was one closed ring, not a set of lights. It was roughly the size of a dinner-plate. It did not appear to be spinning, but the closed-ring, static brightness of the light could have been the cause of that. It appeared to be hovering over the backyard of our neighbors house, or perhaps the house next to that.

I immediately ran to the window. My friend followed me to the window out of curiosity. Upon arriving at the window she too noticed the UFO. The object, which was originally hovering two-and-a-half stories high, started to ascend in a perfectly straight line (as linear as the path of an elevator). This looked unnatural because the object was small and there was a modest breeze outside. The object did not appear to waver, tilt, or move horizontally at all. It had almost perfect acceleration, increasing speed at a very constant and calculated pace. It honestly seemed to be the ideal and theoretical situation that you might find in a physics book. Which is actually quite unnatural, given the fact that a perfect theoretical situation doesnt exist due to the presence of other forces.
The object ascended to above the treeline, about five stories high, then immediately started a perfect deceleration. As soon as the object came to rest, it began a perfect acceleration downward. After the object had descended about half-way, it then ascended again to the same height. It then descended all the way to what appeared to be a landing.

After the UFO had landed, I immediately ran outside. The UFO was nowhere to be seen. After looking for about a minute, I went back downstairs to my basement and looked out the window. I then saw the UFO once again, but this time hovering only a-story-and-a-half high. It moved up and down with no set path, changing direction about five times but never displacing itself more than a foot from its original position, before landing once again.

I again ran outside, this time searching more carefully. I went behind my garage where I could see my neighbors backyard more clearly. There was no person to be seen, and no footprints (there was snow on the ground.) There was also no sign of the UFO. No tracks, nothing.

I was somewhat worried about the incident, so I tried to determine if the UFO had been a toy, since it was about the size of a flying saucer toy you might find in the store. Children do in fact live two houses away from me in the direction of the sighting.

I am skeptical that it was a toy, however, because of its perfect acceleration, its perfectly vertical path, its blue lasers (which are often not sold commercially due to their strength), its height (five stories high) and the absence of any person nearby.

I searched many different UFO toys online, but nothing matched what I seen perfectly. The closest thing I could find, honestly, was not a toy, but the objects described in MUFON cases 23705-23707, although I did not see a red light, and the blue ring appeared to be darker, much like, as I said before, a laser.

I was actually doubting myself due to the fact that I could neither find the UFO, its tracks, or the tracks of any human being. But there was in fact another witness to verify the sighting.

Im not sure about what I saw, but something about it didnt seem natural.

Christmas Day UFO hovers over Pennsylvania town

Pennsylvania witnesses at Chester Springs reported and videotaped a black object that hovered with flashing lights for two hours on Christmas day, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The couple took their kids outside to play with new toys when a "black spot in the sky" was noticed in a hovering position.

"I pointed it out to my husband and my mother and we couldn't figure out what it could be," the reporting witness stated. "After about a half hour, we went back inside. Every few minutes, we'd peek outside to see if it was still there - and it was."

Then the couple's power went out.

"Then our power randomly went out for a minute max - no storms, no wind, nothing else going on to cause a power outage."

The couple then noticed that the object was flashing lights.

"We immediately went out onto the deck and began filming. The lights appeared to be flashing randomly (or perhaps the object was spinning?) and it was mostly horizontal. However, there were times where the lights tilted and then went into a vertical pattern. The lights were hovering right behind some low lying clouds."

The witness provided one image and two video clips with the MUFON report, which was filed on December 26, 2012. Image 1, Video 1 and Video 2.

More cloud coverage moved in and the couple eventually lost sight of the object.

Christmas Day, 2012. We took the kids out to ride their new Power Wheel and I noticed a black spot in the sky that wasnt doing much of anything - just hovering. The alien abduction syndrome being reported in Texas - UPDATED

Alien abductions have been arguably occurring for some five decades now in the modern era. Some experts would speculate that abductions have been happening since antiquity. From descriptions by our ancient ancestors who reported demonic spirits paying women nocturnal visitations to the ordeal of Betty and Barney Hill in 1961. IT represents a lasting perplexity in the UFO phenomenon. John Fuller, their psychiatrist, even wrote a best selling book, The Interrupted Journey, detailing the hypnotic regression evidence that unveiled Betty and Barney's terrifying experience aboard an alien spacecraft.

An impossible recollection traces their origin

Adding credibility to the Hill's story is the account given by Betty, who asked her extraterrestrial captors where they were from as she sat in their space craft after she had undergone biological experiments. Hesitant at first, telling her that human science had not yet located their constellation, they gave her a description of their celestial origin. Betty later gave her testimony of where they said they had come from. She had even remembered though her abductors warned that her memory would be erased once they had gone.

It took years for astronomers to find the constellation Betty had described, but they eventually did, naming it Zeta Reticuli. The chances of Betty concocting a lucky guess were infinitesmal. In all likelihood, Betty could not have known unless she had actually been given that information.

Verification by radar

Radar reports at nearby Peace Air Force Base had also verified that a UFO had been tracked on their screen the night of Betty and Barney's abduction, once again corroborating their story.This incident began the contemporary era of UFO kidnappings.

One of the earliest Texas abductions

1973 in Waco, Texas, Tammy Stone was only 24 and working as a waitress. The diner she was employed at was 30 miles outside of her town. Late one night after work, she recalled, 15 minutes into her drive she was feeling strange as though drugged. She complained of her hearing becoming muffled and feeling a buzzing sensation. Although nauseated and sick she managed to drive home on that lonely dark road, but could not account for a three hour stretch of missing time. She then began experiencing a sequence of disturbing dreams.

She began recollecting that she had been pulled from her car by two beings, only five feet in height, having thin faces and cheeks, and wearing blue one piece uniforms. They carried her by her legs and wrists to a vessel of some kind as she fought with her emotions of awe and fear. After being stripped of her clothing she was surrounded by more of the entities (5) as she lay upon a hard and cold table. She described a machine that hovered over her resembling a large eye that made a buzzing noise. The sounds it emitted kept her sick. They inserted a metallic instrument into her right nostril for a period of time. Upon awakening from her horrid ordeal, Tammy found that they had placed her back in her car. She later arrived home hours after her abduction.

No safety guaranteed even near the largest Army base in the US

October of 1994 in Killeen, Texas a woman reports the abduction of her infant son. One night she went to her baby's cradle which was located right next to the window only to find her son gone. A bright light shines through the blinds as the sound of her baby's cries come from somewhere else in the night. In a panic, she scurries about the house trying to locate her baby and wake her husband who remains oddly asleep regardless of her hysterics. She remembers the bedroom light being out so that the room was cloaked in darkness.

She could now hear a the distant cry of her little son, echoish and obviously remotely located from the bedroom. When she raced back to the baby's room, she lifted the blinds and saw her child laying there. She grabbed him up, hugging him in one arm as she stared out through the window. The glaring beam of light flicked off revealing a giant triangular shaped craft hovering over her house. It never made a sound as it hung still in the night sky. None of her neighbors saw the unknown aerial vessel.

She rocked her baby for a long time, comforting him back to sleep. When she finally checked the window again she found that the mysterious craft had disappeared. She placed her tiny son between her and her husband and somehow managed to fall back to sleep that strange unbelievable night.

Battling against the implanted memory blocks

The next morning her baby was still lying next to her, but she had forgotten almost everything until later that afternoon when the entire experience came back to her. She checked every inch of her baby's body for any marks or evidence of medical procedure, but luckily found none. However, she reports that she found what felt like a piece of buck shot beneath the skin of her leg. It moved under her flesh as she examined it. She'd never had anything like this inside her body before. She quickly presumed that an implant had been left as a calling card by the aliens. The woman never had it examined by a medical doctor, but said that later the tiny piece of metal was no longer visible. Had they come back and removed it or had the object burrowed itself deeper into her muscle tissue, she wondered? A number of other strange events would happen to her as time went on.

Black Triangle near Ft. Hood

What was that black triangle that had drifted in the night sky abover her house? Since being a child herself living next to the largest military base in the country, Ft. Hood, she knew what most military aircraft looked like. Like many others she was left to ponder these disturbing events for a long time afterward without answers or help from the authorities. Even being next to a large military facility is of no protection from these nocturnal intruders as they invade our land beneath the shroud of darkness leaving no clues as to who they are or what they want.

2013 Here it Comes! What Will It Bring?

In the past I would ask other people connected with the paranormal to send me their predictions for the New Year ahead. Last year as we entered the dreaded year of 2012 no one replied to my request to what the year ahead would hold. I can understand their reluctance as 2012 has had a heavy black cloud hanging over it for a very long time.

Here we are coming to the end of this notorious year with the infamous galactic alignment just days away. I believe December 21st will come and go like every other day and we will all be forced to face the fact we need to finish preparing for the Holiday and finish that last minute shopping and tackle the chore of wrapping gifts and making ready for our family traditions. I know I will be busy with all of those things with little or no thought to the world coming to an end. I simply think this alignment happens every 26000 years. The fact the earth survived all the other galactic alignments before it tells us that it is not an earth ending event. The facts clearly tell us this event just does not stop our old planet from chugging along. With that said I have no excuse not to do all I always do at this special time of the year.

I do think 2012 was a difficult year filled with stress and difficulties. My prediction for 2013 is pretty much more of the same stresses and difficulties as our past year.

I think the world scene will continue to cling to the brink of disaster with war looming even closer than the previous years. It is not possible for me to predict the amount of death connected to the war conflicts that hang over this planet but I think we all know we will see these things happening in our future.

I think the world economy and financial outlook for our new year will hang hard or at best be flat and stressful for many. I do not think the year ahead will be more than a holding cycle for most of the large issues facing us during this time in history. I do feel that as we reach the half way mark of this year the world will start to bend in new directions. Although I personally never thought 2012 would be the end of the world I do think it is a mark in time we have come to understand as a period when life changes for those living on this planet in many drastic ways. This era I have been referring to for years in past articles as the ERA of 2012 started years ago and will continue for years to come.

It will not be our finest moments nor will it be the safest of times to live on earth. We are at a point in history when many natural cycles are due to occur that will bring hard times and ciaos to those living upon this planet. As these cycles of events that are now timed to occur fall upon us we must remember that these things have all happened before and they will happen again. As in the past the planet will survive and life will continue. This does not mean we are going to all live happily ever after and do not have to prepare to face enormous difficulties ahead. Surely we will have natural disasters, world conflicts of war and financial issues including the possibility of life ending or life changing events. I am simply saying the earth will continue on as well as life on it while this stressful time cycles through and the planet passes along the hard road ahead until it finds its way to a calmer cycle of time. For those of us alive during this time in history the experiences ahead may be trying and difficult. There does not seem to be any choice for the human race upon this planet to do anything but prepare the best they can for what is ahead and buckle up for what may be a bit of a wild ride.

Those of us who have prepared for or find we are lucky to living in places that do not have a high rate of extreme events like volcanoes , tornados, earthquakes or life threatening storms will have a far greater chance of riding the wave of this Era of time when so many natural disasters are due to occur. Those of us who are lucky enough to have the economic means to see our way through extremely difficult financial times will survive the days ahead as well. Sadly there are others who are not prepared for the hard times due on this earth and we may see loss of life and broken lives cross our path as we move forward along a time full of unknowns that are due and waiting to erupt across this planet. Some of us will live and see it all while others may not. Although difficult these are the facts of life for the human race living on earth at this time in the history of our planet.

2013 will continue to bring increased sightings of strange things going on in our skies as well as everywhere else on earth. I know we will continue to see a rise in the amount of ORB crafts in our skies as well as unidentified objects we cannot explain. We are moving across a delicate line of passage in our galaxy which will increase the activity involving entities being seen that are not human or known. We seem to be more open to easy passage of strange visitors from unknown places which I am sure will follow us during the New Year.

2013 will be a year where we begin our journey on the other side of the alignment which will start us on our way to a different type of living and thinking. I do think this will be a hard year however I also think it will be a year when we begin to clear our heads and hearts towards thinking of better ways of living with each other and upon the surface of planet earth.

Most of all I think we are turning a corner concerning a huge part of being human. For all walking and living on this planet I think 2013 will be a year in which we all will have to face our personal battles and decisions with good and evil. This will be a time we will all be tested on our strengths and stance of being a good verse evil human. Our choices and behavior towards one another will come strongly in to play especially after the first of this year on exactly what course we have chosen and which path we will follow. The outcome of this will all play out over the days and years ahead however our final core actions will determine our soul’s destiny and this I believe strongly with all my heart. Starting 2013 all our decisions and actions will in group decide the fate of mankind. I only pray we all will decide to do the right things at the right times and not ever give over to darkness hate or evil in any shape or form. That will be for all humans the final statement about our journeys lived on planet earth.

I wish you all the best of all things and the strength needed for what may come your way. I hope with all that I can find in me that is strong and good that we all can walk along in to our New Year with the best of intentions backed by kind loving righteous hearts so we can walk ahead to our futures with heads held high and life a bright light ahead filled with hope and joy.

Dulce, New Mexico and the underground base....the bottom line

This is the bottom line when it comes to Dulce, New Mexico.

I have yet to see any single solid, tangible, physical as well as irrefutable documentary evidence whatsoever that there is a physical underground base in Dulce, New Mexico or anywhere near Dulce, New Mexico.
Of course, this does not mean that the base does not exist. Anything is possible.

It appears to me that there are many circumstantial evidences that seem to point out that there COULD be "something" there. What that "something" is I still haven't come to any conclusion.

I have visited Dulce many many times and spoken to many residents there, since March of 1990.

In 2009, I even held the one and only public conference in Dulce, New Mexico that dealt with this topic. Many local residents attended the conference, including some former law enforcement officials there. But the results were inconclusive.

After I moved here to New Mexico from Los Angeles in 2008, I have personally come to know (the late) Gabe Valdez, New Mexico State Patrol officer in charge of the Dulce area for many years. He had investigated hundreds of strange cattle mutilations in that region that started in the mid 1970s.

He confided to me that he believed that there is an underground base there. But he said that the base had nothing to do with Aliens. Unfortunately, Gabe took all his secret knowledge about the base with him when he suddenly passed away in 2011.

I have also come to know Edmund Gomez, one of the sons of the famous Gomez ranch of Dulce, New Mexico. He also told me that he believed that there is a base there but it is not an Alien base but a government base of some kind.

So why do I keep investigating the rumors about the alleged Dulce base?

Well, it's because IF it exists, it involves our hard-earned tax dollars. And we need to know what our hard-earned tax dollars are going into, especially if it involves nefarious projects hidden to the public, whether it be some kind of military biological warfare research or genetic experiments or even a cover-up of dumping of toxic waste materials in the nearby areas.

In December of 1967, the U.S. government exploded an atomic device underground, 22 miles southwest of Dulce, right next to the Jicarilla Apache reservation, under the name of Project Gasbuggy.

Was there any leakage of radiation thereafter?
Did it affect some animals in that area, such as cattle?
Did it affect some humans in that region?
Is this the reason why the Dulce area still has a high rate of cancer, as well as a high rate of infertility?

There things concern me deeply.

UFO expanded to reveal 'silver plated top': Queens witness

A New York witness in the Woodside neighborhood in the borough of Queens reported watching a bright light that expanded to reveal an "opaque, silver plated top and a reddish-orange bottom" with winged tips and pulsating lights about 6:30 a.m. on December 26, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was lying in bed at the time the pulsating light was first noticed.

"I looked out the window while lying in bed to observed a pulsating light outside," the witness stated. "There was a small star and adjacent to the star was this extremely bright light. When I approached to take a closer look the light would expand and contract."

The witness described the object.

"All of a sudden the object came into focus and it was large with an opaque, silver plated top and a reddish-orange bottom. It had a winged tip with pulsating lights. It pretty much glowed all over and it seemed to be radiating this glow from the inside out."

The object disappeared and then reappeared one more time.

"It hovered over the rooftop of some buildings across the street from me."

The witness thought about getting a cell phone to capture images, but was afraid to look away thinking that the object would disappear.

"Slowly it started moving without any sound! It made a sharp left and slowly started elevating until it went around the corner and out of sight. This object was very long and it had a strip of distinctive lights in the center. The bottom was pulsating and glowing in a red color."

December 26, 2012, 6:30 a.m., Woodside, Queens, NY - At 6:30am observed pulsating light outside window. When I approached to take a closer look the light would expand and contract. All of a sudden the object came into focus and it was large with a opaque silver plated top and a reddish orange bottom. Case 44799.

At 6:30am I awoke and suddenly I looked out the window while lying in bed to observed a pulsating light outside. There was a small star and ajascent to the star was this extremely bright light. When I approached to take a closer look the light would expand and contract. All of a sudden the object came into focus and it was large with an opaque silver plated top and a reddish orange bottom, it had a winged tip with pulsating lights. It pretty much glowed all over and it seemed to be radiating this glow from the inside out. It disappeared and appeared one more time. It hovered over the rooftop of some buildings across the street from me.
I was in shock and was so curious super excited. I could have gone to get my cell phone to take a picture or even film it, but I was affraid I would lose it from sight.

Occult Psychology Reflected In UFOs!

An editor for the British Economic Voice reported on Dec. 12, 2012, how he and his family sighted a black triangular UFO while driving at night in open country just north of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. In the article, Richard Henley Davis described the incident in a way that reflected similar testimony from a Cardiff University research director who photographed a cluster of lights from a nearby location in 2008.

What the Davis family saw was described as two very bright downwards-pointing lights in the sky that approached their vehicle in an eerily silent way considered “very unnerving” by the witnesses.

UFO Mountains

One source describes how the Brecon Beacons were named for the ancient practice of lighting signal fires on mountains. The etymological significance of ancient luminous UFOs appearing near local peaks (like those recorded on Mt. Adams in Washington State) provides an opportunity for further exploration of an apparently underreported or now-suppressed dimension of Powys history.

Heavily Armed

The editor explained how, as a local resident, he was familiar with how engines from low-flying military aircraft can “frighten the daylights” out of observers.

The town of Brecon is home to the British Army’s Infantry Battle School, 160th (Wales) Brigade and the kukri-bearing Gurkha Company (Mandalay), all of whom (along with the Special Air Services) reportedly use the Brecon Beacons area as a military training ground.

Expecting to resolve the form of a C-130 Hercules military transport in flight, the editor stated how as the object drew closer he “caught a glimpse of a green light on the underside” before noticing how “there were another two green lights all at the other corners of what turned out to be a large black triangular shaped craft.”

Justice Served?

The ironic nature of his encounter did not escape the witness.

Richard Henley Davis, who has has penned a number of CIA Operation Mockingbird-like articles citing “little green men,” “conspiracy theory nut jobs” and “Chinese lanterns” explained that due to “poetic justice,” he is now a public participant in an emerging global community that understands how this planet’s skies serve as a staging ground for contact between civilizations; whether human, breakaway or ET.

Encounters Academic

Known as a hotspot for UFOs, the Breacon Beacons served as the staging ground for a 2008 encounter whose principle witness was Dr. Simon Griffey, currently research director for the Doctorate in Educational Psychology program at Cardiff University. The British Sun newspaper reported on June 27, 2008 how seven lights over Talybont-on-Usk were accompanied by “no noise whatsoever” in a way that was “a bit eerie.”

The Tavistock Clinic-trained educational psychologist told the Sun how his son’s camera only captured three of the seven lights, while the crew of a South Wales police helicopter were unable to record a sighting that took place 90 minutes later using their on-board surveillance equipment.

“If it had been a natural phenomenon you surely would have been able to photograph all of it,” he stated, adding how from his educator’s perspective, the concept of life on other planets remains “plausible.”

An online source clarifies the Tavistock Clinic’s 1922 founding in London as “a psychological warfare research center.”

Hunters Startled by UFOs in Serra de Grandola, Portugal

This event took place on the evening of 31 August of this very same year, 2012.
I was in the company of two friends, both of them hunters, who saw exactly the same thing. We live in Grandola, and hunt wild boar for sport in Serra de Grandola and Santiago do Cacém. I have been hunting for nearly 30 years and never saw anything like it.

It was already past midnight and we were on our way back home when we say a light that we could not explain. It was a very quiet night, moonlit night, and ideal for hunting.

We became tired of waiting for wild boar to appear, so we decided to return home – one of my companions had to work on Saturday. We walked for some twenty minutes back to where we left our vehicle. This must have been around half past midnight or one o’clock in the morning, more or less. We got the car going and set off on the return trip, driving past Santa Margarida da Serra.

A few kilometers ahead on the road there is a tight, elbow-type curve before the straight segment that leads to Santiago do Cacém Grandola, and it was exactly after taking that curve that we saw a very bright light above the trees and pine groves in the road’s median strip.

Blinded by the light, I slowed down and pulled over to the shoulder. The three of us got out to get a better look at the light. We weren’t able to see any figures, just a light some 20 meters long, with an elongated shape.

The light flew very slowly to our right, passing over the pine groves at the summit of the mountain range where were stopped. We weren’t frightened; just amazed by the inhospitable presence of that light.

One of my companions said that it was a firefighting helicopter that monitored the mountain range on account of the forest fires. However, we decided that it couldn’t be a helicopter, as there was no engine sound to be heard.

A few meters head from us, a car pulled over and a military man from the GNR, known to us, emerged. He saw the same thing and spoke with us about what we had seen.
We remained there for a good 10 minutes, looking at the light. The military man phoned someone to discuss what we were seeing at the moment – I suspect he was talking to his base! At that point, one of my friends remembered [the existence of] a fire tower whose staff could well be seeing the same thing. The light vanished slowly into the mountain range, and me and my friends returned home, amazed. I believe the soldier followed the object. He was very curious about it, and it was he who recorded the object on his cellphone. Our own were turned off at the moment, and we didn’t even think about cellphones at the time.

Meanwhile, some days went by, and I happened to mention the event to some fellow hunters without mentioning the word UFO. I never believed in such things, until I saw one. I was impresses with what other hunters told me, swearing that they had seen lights that they at first took for helicopters, but made no engine sound whatsoever.
I’ve been a hunter for many years, and I’ve seen shooting stars, meteorites and all those natural things. But what we saw on the night of 31 August goes beyond anything I’ve known in my life. I served in the Navy and never knew of a helicopter that didn’t make an engine noise. Such a thing doesn’t exist. I am aware of many new technologies in contemporary military aircraft.

I’m convinced that the fire fighters on duty in the Grandola tower also saw the light. It was a very large object; not seeing it was impossible. My hunting companions and I still wonder what that light was. We have gone hunting in the same area again, but haven’t seen it again. The oddest detail is that when we now lie in wait while hunting, I’m constantly looking at the sky, like someone who expects to see something that surreal all over again.

After undergoing an experience like this one, not knowing whether it was a UFO or not, my notions about these objects have changed significantly. I would like to say that I saw a UFO, but I can’t say for sure, as all I saw was a light. A light I’d never seen in my life. I’ll send you a drawing of our position with regard to the light. On the Internet, my son found an image that resembles what we saw. It was at my son’s insistence that I am sharing the sighting – it’s not the usual topic of conversation for a coffee shop. Many would not believe. I’m curious about the recording made by the GNR soldier. He made the recording with his cellphone camera, and I can say it was a good recording, because we commented about it as he was recording.

How long until the day of official verification of contact?

For anyone making an intelligent inquiry into the possibility of mankind on earth being visited by or coming into contact with a civilization from another planet there must be acknowledgement at some point by the governments of the world. In more than 5 decades of widespread UFO reports, military confirmation, and witness testimony, still official recognition eludes us. Why? It is a complex proposition for our system of beliefs and social structure to encounter a superior civilization. Many of our sacredly held self assurances could be disrupted and thrown into question. Such human institutions as religion, government, law, military, and science could not only lose relevance but power over the people once our arcane suppositions have been breached by a greater reality.

Witholding the vital admission

What does that mean to the powers that be. Knowledge is power. Governments, particularly the US, have made it a standard operating procedure to compartmentalize knowledge on a need to know basis or utilize secrecy and attach classified status to any controversial project or form of forbidden knowledge that could have an unpredictable and far reaching impact upon humanity. Such is the proposition of extraterrestrial contact. This is no simple matter on many levels.

The inevitable course of confrontation

The unfortunate realization for human history and archeological implication has been that once presented with a direct exchange between an ancient culture and that of a more advanced society, the simpler or less advanced culture tends to be overwhelmed, faced with the exposure of their belief systems being marginalized by the greater realization of a superior society. The American Indians once faced by the superior technology of western Europeans, their machinery, their weapons, and their system of laws and government were not only intimidated but eclipsed with their inability to comprehend the direct contradiction to their sacred presumptions.

When the primitive meets its superior

Such was the case with the Aztecs of Mexico and Central America when confronted by the Spanish explorers such as Cortez. When they saw white men arrive from somewhere out in the ocean on massive galleons using cannons and muskets for warfare, it was only a matter of time. Quickly the Aztec culture dissolved socially and religiously in the wake of a society that demonstrated technical if not ethical superiority. The conquistadors caused the rapid destruction of a less developed society with not only violence but the destruction of its belief system.

War of the Worlds a real panic!

On October 30, 1938 on the eve of Halloween, the Fireside Theater led by actor, Harry S. Truman, who publicly spoke after the famous 1952 Washington National sightings where UFO’s were tracked by radar and chased by USAF interceptors over Capitol Hill on several occasions over a 2 week period.

President Jimmy Carter candidly admitted he had observed a UFO along with several others and even filled out a detailed report on the sighting. Carter during his first term in following up on a campaign promise he had made to get to the bottom of the UFO question, had instructed his science advisor to make inquiries within the federal government and CIA about UFO’s, but was denied access.

President Ronald Reagan alluded to all nations of the world uniting mankind in their efforts to defeat a common alien aggressor if such a war ever occurred, yet getting mankind to cooperate in peaceful efforts beyond that was hard work. This comment Reagan made a point to have his speech writer include in many of his public discourses.

The transformation of policy

We have seen the course of government policy transform over the issue of UFO’s from the Defense Department hiring Walt Disney to make absurd cartoons about space creatures to blacking out the entire TV screen during a Donald Keyhoe interview about UFO’s on NBC in 1958. We have seen certain individuals deep within the government rebel against official policy such as former CIA director, Roscoe Hillenkoeter who gave a New York Times interview warning that UFO secrecy and denial was a dangerous policy in 1960.

In 2001, Doctor Steven Greer made history by organizing a massive public witness testimony of former military figures to appear at the National Press Club in Washington DC under the aegis of the “Disclosure Project” in order to put an end to official denial and secrecy. Something the likes of which could never have happened in years past.

The pendulum of refusal to acknowledge the truth by the US government has swung from one extreme to a surprising tolerance for many of its own leaders, intelligence agents, and military personnel involved in highly secretive projects to come forward and disclose what they know about the UFO reality that has been officially disputed for so long. Many now believe that not only is the public ready for the official announcement of the truth, but that the long overdue admission by the US government could happen any time. Unfortunately, this writer does not feel that it will come with the current Obama White House in view of the continued destructive policies it has conducted. It seems that the President’s last consideration would be transparency over any important issue that the people seek the truth over. Yet, regardless of this fact, the wheels of progress have turned and brought our society a long way from the anal retentive denial of the 1940’s 50’s and 60’s. Time will only tell.

UFO News 2012 In Review

Fran Drescher Claims Abduction

On Jan. 27, the Huffington Post reported how the former “Doctor Detroit” co-star and current “Happily Divorced” lead actor, writer and producer claimed that she had been abducted and programmed by aliens.

On Jan. 21, YouTube unveiled a young Welshman’s Denbigh UFO video and a local Vancouver incident fueled its own spiritual hypothesis of cosmic contact on Jan. 13.

SETI Live Citizen Search

On Feb. 29, Space.com reported how the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence SETI Live website invites members of the public to help analyze data from the Allen Telescope Array in California that scans the heavens for ET radio signals. The fact that possibly more valid instrumental evidence for ET contact was published to YouTube in 2012 than SETI has produced in the past 40 years continues to elude team scientists struggling to appear relevant during an era of widely-accessible, affordable digital night vision.

On Feb. 12, a colorful Edmonton, Alberta, UFO left a strange video impression when viewed through a telescope and the seven-part online series “UFO Mountain” offered seven steps to positive ET contact on Feb. 5.

Prominent Solar Confusion

On March 13, scientists addressed how a solar prominence viewed through NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory had been mistaken by members of the public for a giant disc-shaped UFO extracting fuel from the sun.

Interpreting images composed of light emitted from iron atoms that have been ionized 13 times appears to require a slightly different skill set than using the Facebook-owned Instagram.

Instagram recently re-revised their terms of service after reportedly planning to profit from users’ uploaded photos without compensating the photographers.

On March 21, a UFO was captured on video flying over the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the “real Philadelphia Experiment,” showcased at the Vancouver Roundhouse, was announced on March 10.

Abductee Tales in Photo Essay

On April 27, Wired displayed an edgy tabloid-style photo essay exploring the world of self-described alien abductees who met New York Post freelance photographer Steven Hirsch at the International UFO Congress in Fort McDowell, Ariz.

On April 9, a cluster of UFOs was recorded over Saint Petersburg, Russia, in a way that apparently included multiple camera angles.

Bright Light Makes Hard Turn

On May 22, a skywatching low-light surveillance camera in New Zealand captured the hard turn of a brilliantly illuminated object travelling across South Pacific skies (one of many remarkable captures for YouTube channel Horsefarmer1000).

On May 12, photographs of a ring-like UFO from Hoboken, N.J., were featured by UFO Digest and video of what can only be described as definitive Canadian evidence for close encounters of the fifth kind from British Columbia's Okanagan region was released on May 17.

Orange Orbs of Apple Valley

On June 4, a couple standing on their porch in Apple Valley, Calif., captured on video a series of orange-colored orbs hovering over the eastern horizon during a reported incident that lasted approximately 15 minutes.

On June 19, another ring-like UFO was taped in flight over the skies of Universal City, Calif., while live-streaming video over Facebook via Ustream.tv revealed how some unexpected visitors may have dropped by to sample the Vancouver International Jazz Festival on June 24.

RCMP’s ET Tweet

On July 16, members from the Coquitlam, British Columbia, detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to a call regarding two “non-human entities” seen on a Port Coquitlam resident’s patio, inspiring one of the officers to tweet ““Strange but true. #cqrcmp went to a report of ET sighting in #PortCoquitlam in the early morning. Area searched and no aliens found.””

On July 19, an anonymous photographer snapped a cluster of lights over New Orleans, La., telling local ABC affiliate WNGO how what he saw “shined it’s lights in my eyes.”

On July 6, ECETI Ranch’s James Gilliland notified witnesses that a UFO flying overhead was “going to flash” while three cameras captured the event unfolding exactly as he described only moments later.
