Orange object floating over Lakewood CA neighborhood on July 4 2015

July 4, 2015 Lakewood, CA near Long Beach while watching fireworks, husband and I and neighbors noticed orange floating object that was neither fireworks nor planes nor blimp we decided. Good Year blimp is a familiar sight so we would have known if it was that. It was too large and low in the sky to be a star. Although we are near the LB airport, we see planes and helicopters all the time. It seemed to hover and was like nothing we had ever witnessed in the sky then or since. My thought was it might have been UFO blending in with July 4 activity while observing us. My husband suggested it was a drone. We watched it for a while and then went back to fireworks after giving up on trying to figure out what it was. At the end of the night, we picked up our son from a friends house and were driving home and saw the same object still hovering in the direction of the golf course on Carson Street. Last night while catching grunion we were discussing it with others who witnessed the same but reported seeing green floating object. We have been puzzled over it since and wondered if there have been other reports.

UFO over our campsite- bright white light

While camping my wife and I looked up into the sky and noticed a star that seemed to be getting brighter and brighter. My wife pointed towards it, I noticed that it it was on a direct path towards with us at a a high rate of speed. then it immediately slow down and then descended even further to the treetops where it stopped and seemed to hovered. We watched this ufo through the trees where it absolutely made no sound whatsoever. after about 2 minutes the object is completely gone.
