i was outside my house in Glen Waverley when i noticed how clear the night is i always stare at the stars when i saw i what i thought was the brightest shooting star ascending from the ground level to the stars at rapid pace leaving a trail behind. It was moving very fast and appeared to have just vanished into the dark sky it happened so quickly i was truly amazed at the speed there was no sound my first thought was "do shooting stars fly in that direction" i wanted to inform somebody about this in the hope of some sort of information about this event and did anybody else see it. i really feel as though i may have witnessed something truly amazing , i really just want to know if anybody else saw this or even somehow managed to record it. i do have the greatest skyline view from my house and this is the first time ive seen anything like this! UFO Sighting in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona on September 15th 2013 - Thought it was an airliner until it changed directions 180.
We live at 7,000' elevation. Bright blue sky with puffy white clouds about 2,000 elevation. I have never seen an airliner fly over in the north. Saw this silver object fly out of one white cloud into another. I expected to see it fly out of the opposite end???.instead it flew out where it entered and back into the first cloud. It never appeared again. Other events???... I saw one of these 180 turn arounds with the same type of aircraft in 1952 with my Dad. He also saw it and said it was a tricky fighter jet developed to fight in the Korean War. I witnessed the 1966 UFO sighting over downtown L.A. that was featued in the LAX Tower scene in "Close Encounters". Several incomming airline pilots, the Tower and a bunch of us at USC saw it around 5pm. Sailed over 3 100' diameter blue green discs on a foggy May night at midnight on the way to Catalina Island. They were several feet below the surface and lit our boat like a phosphorus shake stick. 5 us were on the boat as witness.

UFO Sighting in Jay, Oklahoma on August 11th 2012 - Black Shadowy Figure, 2 orbs, and parallel lights that changed direction.
My roommate, and two sons were getting ready for a Perseid's watch party in the front yard. We looked up and saw a slow moving object very high up, too high to be a plane, non blinking, flying from south to north. We started to move to the backyard and when I got about ten-thirteen feet from my chicken coop, saw a black whispy figure approximately four feet tall disappear at a high rate of speed. It headed west toward my neighbor's fence. It was solid black and I did not see it long enough to determine a shape but thinking back on it, it had a caped figure type appearance to it. Then we did not see it again. My teenage son tried to tell me it was him running past the coop so I would not see him but I was ten feet or so from it, know he cannot move that fast, and would know him if I saw him. My roommate and my other son also would have recognized him. It just floated and zip..gone. Then...we observed a few meteors when my youngest son said "Mom, look a UFO!" What we observed were two balls of light above the tree line moving from a west to south east direction. They were flying parallel to one another and moving pretty fast, then they decelerated in unison, banked, switched direction, and quickly disappeared below the tree line. The balls of light that were on it, non blinking, did not move or separate. My teenage son saw it too and asked me what the he** it was...and I told him it was a UFO that he had told me I was crazy for believing in! My room mate injured her wrist trying to get up in a hurry trying to go see if she could get a better look at it. Shortly afterward, we saw another small orb traveling high up, from south to north, but that could have been a possible satellite. I know the other object was not either a meteor or a satellite though.
